High-bay warehouse for long-size material trays

The high-bay warehouse has 992 storage places for long-size material trays. Each tray can be loaded with items of up to 24m length and 4.5 ton weight. A load-independent distance measurement system ensures a positioning accuracy of <1mm.

The travel speeds are:

• Running gear (X-axis) 60m/min
• Lifting mechanism (Y axis) 30m/min
• Tray traction (Z axis) 72m/min

The control is connected to the warehouse management computer via an Ethernet link.Control on site is done using a Siemens Mobile Panel.

Lifting beam
